Staking - Tron (TRX)
Introduction
- The on-chain staking service provided by MAX is a product designed to generate yield based on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism.
- Compared to other platforms, this product has the following features:
1. Payouts once a week
2. Generate predictable yield with crypto
3. Stake your crypto with a few taps from your MAX app
4. Unstake anytime
Staking protocol
- TRON is a blockchain platform dedicated to building the infrastructure for a decentralized Internet. It is known for its high throughput, high scalability, and low transaction fees, and is widely utilized for stablecoin payments and decentralized applications (DApps).
- TRON adopts DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) as its consensus mechanism, a modified version of the conventional PoS protocol. It achieves high performance by electing Super Representatives through community voting to validate transactions. The current TPS (transactions per second) on TRON can reach 2,000. - As of March 31, 2026, the staking ratio on TRON is approximately 48.71%, with a Total Value Locked (TVL) surpassing 25.9 billion USD, ranking among the top globally based on market cap. These assets are distributed across well-known DeFi protocols such as JustLend. Additionally, TRON is the largest circulation network for the USDT stablecoin globally.
- Audited by Least Authority.
Yield
- Yield are generated through PoS staking.
- The expected annual percentage yield (APY) is displayed on the staking page.
- Yield are distributed weekly.
Risks
- Assets are subject to losses if the private key of the validator is compromised.
- Rewards could be less than expected if the blockchain protocol contains design defects.
- Blockchain network security risks: Although the mainnet has been operating stably to date, potential security vulnerabilities could still arise in the future.
Fee
10% of the generated yield will be charged as fees. If yield are received in MAX Tokens, the fee will be waived.
Staking / Unstaking Processing Time
